Who It's For

In a cozy space, the stove should be easy, not another job on the list. You need compact wood heat that does not ask to be watched. The Forge & Flame Millennium 2100, featuring Quadra-Fire burn technology, is for the small home, the den, or the cabin where the owner wants a clean-lined stove that takes care of its own startup. A manual stove needs attention; this one needs a match.

What Makes It Special

Automatic Combustion Control gives the fire extra air when you light it and closes on its own in about 20 minutes. You can also give it a boost anytime the fire needs one.

It sits on a pedestal with a cast iron arched door and a welded steel firebox that takes logs up to 16 inches.

A load can last up to seven hours, enough to carry a long evening.

Possible Downsides

If you want compact wood heat without the babysitting, the Forge & Flame Millennium 2100 is the right decision. You light it, pour a drink, and the den is warm before you sit down.

Add the 160 cfm fan kit, a satin nickel door upgrade, or an outside air kit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much space will the Forge & Flame Millennium 2100 wood stove heat?

Plan on 1,100–2,200 sq ft, which suits a small home, a den, or a cabin. It has a peak rating of 44,400 BTU per hour, tests at 82.3% efficiency (LHV), or 76.1% (HHV), and is EPA certified at 1.7 grams per hour.

How long will a load last in the Millennium 2100?

Expect about 5–7 hours per load, enough to carry a long evening, with logs up to 16 inches in the 1.48 cubic foot welded steel firebox, behind 125 sq in of glass. It's the smallest Millennium, so if you want longer burns, the 3100 and 4300 hold more wood.

How does the automatic air control work on the Millennium 2100?

Automatic Combustion Control gives the fire extra air when you light it, then closes on its own in about 20 minutes so you don't have to come back and adjust it. You can also give the fire a boost anytime, and setting the burn rate control to high overrides the timer.

Is a mobile home install allowed with the Millennium 2100?

Yes, as long as it isn't in a sleeping room. You'll need the OAK-ACC outside air kit, grounding to the home's frame with #8 copper wire, listed double-wall connector pipe, a UL103 HT chimney or full-length 6-inch UL-1777 liner, and a spark arrestor.

What chimney setup does the Millennium 2100 need?

It has a 6-inch flue collar and needs a chimney with at least a 6-inch inside diameter, plus a minimum of 2 feet of vertical pipe straight off the stove top. With double-wall pipe and a listed chimney, it can also go in an alcove up to 48 inches deep.

What size hearth pad does the Millennium 2100 need?

In the US, the non-combustible floor protector must extend at least 16 inches in front of the glass and 8 inches past each side of the loading door; in Canada, the front extension is 18 inches. The brochure lists a minimum floor protection size of 29-5/8 inches wide by 39 inches deep.

What add-ons are available for the Millennium 2100?

The stove burns wood without electricity, but you can add the 160 cfm fan kit, which plugs into 115-volt power and has a rheostat speed control with automatic or manual settings. A satin nickel door upgrade and the ACC outside air kit are the other options.

What maintenance does the Millennium 2100 need?

Check that the baffle and ceramic blanket are in place monthly or after every cord of wood, and have the chimney and cap inspected for creosote every two months of the burn season. If you add the fan, vacuum its impellers yearly or after every four cords.

The Quadra-Fire Story

Quadra-Fire was founded by Alan Trusler and Dan Henry as Aladdin Steel Products near Colville, Washington, in 1978–79. Its Quad-Burn system, introduced in 1986, burns wood smoke in four zones without a catalytic combustor. HON Industries (now HNI) bought the company in 1998, and since 2023 Quadra-Fire stoves have been sold under the Forge & Flame name, with the original model names.
