Who It's For
Traditional rooms deserve a stove with some craftsmanship. The stove should look like it belongs with the furniture. You need a classic cast iron stove that still runs itself. If your home leans traditional, the Forge & Flame XXV-TC, powered by Harman technology, fits. Choose it and the stove becomes a piece people admire.
What Makes It Special
It is cast iron with oak-leaf detailing, in Matte Black, Porcelain Twilight, or Porcelain Majolica Brown.
A wireless room sensor and a touch panel hold your temperature closely. The 65 lb hopper sits under a lit, tinted lid, and the mirrored glass keeps it tidy when off. It covers roughly 900 to 2,300 square feet.
Possible Downsides
- Only dealers trained on it can order and install it.
- There is no log set offered for it.
If you want a traditional cast iron stove with precise control, the Forge & Flame XXV-TC is the right decision. The stove looks like an heirloom and keeps the room right where you set it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much area will the Forge & Flame XXV-TC heat?
The Forge & Flame XXV-TC is rated to heat 900–2,300 sq ft. It's a traditional cast iron pellet stove with oak-leaf detailing, built on Harman technology, and its flame-reactive mirrored glass keeps the front looking tidy when the stove is off.
How does the XXV-TC hold the room temperature?
You set the temperature on the EASY Touch Control panel, and a wireless room sensor reports conditions from where you sit while an exhaust sensing probe adjusts the fire to hold that setting. If the sensor's batteries die, a backup sensor keeps heating your home, and an outside temperature kit is available as an option.
How big is the XXV-TC's hopper, and what pellets can it burn?
The XXV-TC's sealed hopper holds 65 lb under a lit, tinted lid so you can see the fuel level. Its bottom-up feed system is designed to burn any grade of pellet fuel and allows 24-hour heating, and the stove is EPA certified to the 2020 standard at 1.75 grams per hour.
Can the XXV-TC keep heating if the power goes out?
Only with a Harman-approved inverter/charger. The XXV-TC runs on 115-volt power, and while a UPS such as the Tripp Lite INTERNET750U just provides a smoke-free shutdown, the Tripp Lite APS700HF or APS750 inverter/charger can run it for up to eight hours on a 12-volt deep-cycle battery after a dealer setting change.
What venting and wall clearances does the XXV-TC need?
It uses 3-inch or 4-inch type L or PL pellet vent. The XXV-TC needs 3 inches from the back wall, 12 inches from a side wall, or 6.25 inches from each wall in a corner, and 3-inch PL pipe itself must stay 3 inches from combustibles.
What floor protection does the XXV-TC need, and is it mobile home approved?
The non-combustible floor protector must extend 6 inches to each side and 6 inches in front, with none required behind, plus 2 inches past any horizontal flue pipe. The XXV-TC is approved for mobile and manufactured homes outside sleeping rooms with a Harman outside air kit, listed L or PL pellet vent, and a ground to the home's frame.
What finishes does the XXV-TC come in, and are there any limits on buying it?
Choose Matte Black, Porcelain Twilight, or Porcelain Majolica Brown. There's no log set offered for the XXV-TC, and only dealers trained on this model can order and install it, so you'll need to buy through one of them.
What upkeep does the XXV-TC need?
Scrape the burn pot daily, empty the large concealed ash pan and clean the glass weekly, and do a total clean of the fans, vent, and gaskets once a year before the heating season. The touch control shows prompts when the burn pot, ash pan, or total clean is due.
The Harman Story
Harman was founded by Dane Harman, a welder, who built his first stove in 1978 and started Harman Stove and Welding beside his home in Halifax, Pennsylvania, in 1979. Its pellet stoves grew out of a patented coal stoker, with a bottom-feed burn pot that pushes ash out and a probe that feeds by temperature. Hearth & Home Technologies bought Harman in 2007, and since 2023 its stoves have been sold under the Forge & Flame name, “Powered by Harman Technology.”
