Who It's For
Most wood stoves come in one color: black. That works in some rooms and fights with others. You need a stove that heats an average home and fits the look of the room it lives in. If your house is up to about 2,000 square feet and you want a stove with color and a traditional shape, the Super Classic is the one. Choose a black steel stove and you get the same heat, but not the same room.
What Makes It Special
The Super Classic is the Super stove clad in lustrous porcelain enamel, in Sunset Red, Ebony Black, Ivory, Modern Desert, Pacific Teal, Midnight Blue, or Evergreen. A decorative trivet sits on top, and the ash disposal system comes standard.
Inside is the same firebox that made the Super popular: logs load straight in, front to back, one lever sets the burn, and a full load runs approx. 7–10 hours. It burns with no electricity, so the house stays warm in an outage.
Possible Downsides
- The blower is optional, not included. Without it, the stove heats by radiation alone.
- It stands on legs only. For a pedestal base, look at the Super.
If you want mid-size wood heat in a stove that suits your color scheme, the Super Classic is the right decision. The stove looks like it was chosen for the room, and the room is warm from morning to night.
The Super Classic comes in seven porcelain colors, with legs and an arched door each in Metallic Black, Nickel, or Brushed Nickel, a Metallic Black or Nickel trivet, and an optional blower.

The Pacific Energy Story
Pacific Energy Fireplace Products was founded in 1978 by Paul Erickson in Duncan, British Columbia. It's best known for steel and cast-iron wood stoves, many finished in porcelain enamel from its own plant, and it also builds wood fireplaces, gas fireplaces, and gas stoves. The same company makes Town & Country gas fireplaces, True North, and Elegant Electric. Sweden's NIBE group became the majority owner in 2022, and NIBE's 2023 annual report lists the company as wholly owned.
