Who It's For
A contemporary home deserves a stove that matches it, and the modern ones are often too small to heat more than one room. You need clean, modern lines with real heating capacity behind them. If your home is up to about 2,000 square feet and you want a contemporary stove that can carry the heat, the Neo 2.5 is the one. The alternative is a traditional stove that heats the house and never quite fits the room.
What Makes It Special
The Neo 2.5 is the larger of the two Neo stoves, with a tall profile and a big window that puts the fire at eye level. Under a removable cast iron trivet is a cooking surface for a pot of soup or a kettle.
A built-in heat exchanger moves heat into the room, and a full load burns approx. 8–12 hours, so the fire you build after dinner is still going in the morning. It burns with no electricity, and the ash disposal system comes standard.
Possible Downsides
- The blower is optional, not included. Without it, the stove relies on its heat exchanger and radiation.
If you want a modern wood stove that can heat most of the house, the Neo 2.5 is the right decision. The stove is the centerpiece of the room, and the kettle on top stays warm all evening.
The Neo 2.5 takes side panels in Black Metallic, Stainless, or porcelain Red, Black, Ivory, Modern Desert, Midnight Blue, or Evergreen, plus an optional blower.

The Pacific Energy Story
Pacific Energy Fireplace Products was founded in 1978 by Paul Erickson in Duncan, British Columbia. It's best known for steel and cast-iron wood stoves, many finished in porcelain enamel from its own plant, and it also builds wood fireplaces, gas fireplaces, and gas stoves. The same company makes Town & Country gas fireplaces, True North, and Elegant Electric. Sweden's NIBE group became the majority owner in 2022, and NIBE's 2023 annual report lists the company as wholly owned.
