Who It's For
Black cast iron is classic, but in a light, bright room it can look heavy. You need a traditional stove that heats a smaller home and adds color instead of a dark shape in the corner. If you heat up to 1,500 square feet and want an old-world stove in a soft enamel finish, the Alderlea T4 Classic is the one. Choose black and you get the same fire with a very different look.
What Makes It Special
The T4 Classic is the compact Alderlea finished in porcelain enamel, Ivory or Majolica Brown, over cast iron. The enamel wipes clean and keeps its color for years.
Underneath, a floating steel firebox wrapped in cast iron does the heating, giving warmth back to the room the way the sun warms your face. It fits close wall clearances without heat shields, a full load runs approx. 7–10 hours, and the ash disposal system comes standard.
Possible Downsides
- No cooktop. For a concealed cooktop in enamel, look at the T5 Classic.
- The blower is optional, not included. Without it, the stove heats by radiation alone.
If you want a compact cast iron stove that brings soft color into the room, the Alderlea T4 Classic is the right decision. The stove becomes the piece people notice first, and the house stays warm into the night.
The Alderlea T4 Classic comes in Ivory or Majolica Brown porcelain enamel, with an optional blower.

The Pacific Energy Story
Pacific Energy Fireplace Products was founded in 1978 by Paul Erickson in Duncan, British Columbia. It's best known for steel and cast-iron wood stoves, many finished in porcelain enamel from its own plant, and it also builds wood fireplaces, gas fireplaces, and gas stoves. The same company makes Town & Country gas fireplaces, True North, and Elegant Electric. Sweden's NIBE group became the majority owner in 2022, and NIBE's 2023 annual report lists the company as wholly owned.
