Who It's For
Open plans often leave one room with the fire and the other with the back of a wall. You need a modern fire that belongs to both sides. If you’re dividing a contemporary space, such as living and dining, the WS54 See-Through gives each room the same long, vibrant flame. A single-sided linear favors one room; this one makes the dividing wall the focal point of both.
What Makes It Special
Glass on both faces means each room gets the full fire, with a three-dimensional flame that looks like a custom fireplace from every vantage point.
Choose the Tranquility burner of river rock and white sand or the Twilight Diamond tumbled glass, add the optional Long Beach log set, and finish with porcelain panels in four colors and an optional graphite or copper surround.
Possible Downsides
- It’s certified as a decorative fireplace, not a heater; if warming the room is the goal, look at a heater-rated fireplace instead.
- Porcelain panels only; the handcrafted brick panels aren’t offered on the widescreen models, so for a brick look, see the TC36 See-Through.
- The surround is an add-on, not included.
If you want a contemporary fire that two rooms share equally, the WS54 See-Through is the right decision. Whichever side you’re on, you’re sitting in front of the fire.
Choose the Tranquility or Twilight Diamond burner, with the Long Beach log set as an option, then finish the firebox in black, coffee bean brown, titanium, or copper porcelain and frame it with a graphite or copper surround.

The Town & Country Story
Town & Country Fireplaces is the luxury gas fireplace brand of Pacific Energy Fireplace Products Ltd., of Duncan, British Columbia. The name has been in use since 2002, and its first fireplaces introduced the clean-face look: edge-to-edge glass with no louvers or visible controls. Every Town & Country is a direct-vent gas fireplace, and every one is certified as a decorative appliance, not a heater. Sweden's NIBE Group has owned all of Pacific Energy since 2023.
